Using Digital Image Analysis to Estimate Corn Ear Traits in Agrotechnical Field Trials: The Case with Harvest Residues and Fertilization Regimes

In this study, we aimed to evaluate the feasibility of digital image analysis (DIA) as a substitute for standard (SA) in assessing corn ear traits agrotechnical field trials. Accurate and timely prediction yield through can lead precise agricultural management recommendations improvement production. For both methods, results showed that only nitrogen doses had significant effect on examined traits, correlation matrix revealed strong relationship between traits.
